Hydraulic power designed for horizontal positioning.  The power unit offers a smooth continuous movement into your stretch.  The release just below offers the ability to ease off the stretch SLOWLY Ratchets, cables, pulleys, gears, threads, steering wheels (obviously requires some arm strength), don't come close to the ease and precision hydraulics offer.  Some release with a "free-fall" or "snapping back" of your legs that can cause injury to a stretched muscle.  A slow release is stretching 101.  Unnecessarily complex design and more opportunity for malfunction.
Heavy-duty 14/16 gauge (nearly 1/8") metal construction. You can squeeze your legs together, such as in an isometric stretch, and actually bend or break many of these products.  Not the stuff commercial grade products are made of.  Again, another reason for the short warranty.
Lateral knee joint stress eliminated.

We continually hear from customers how uncomfortable the others make them feel, particularly around the knee.  You won't use it if it hurts!

Universal sliding leg deck adjustment. You get maybe three positions or worse-You have nothing supporting your knee!   
Comfortable roller pads at contact points. Comfortable roller pads are generally non-existent and have a limited adjustment for the user.  It matters if you want to enjoy stretching. 
3 year limited warranty.

That's why we say it's the last one you'll ever have to buy.  Nobody else would dare offer a warranty like this simply because they can't.  Think about it-that's a no confidence vote from the manufacturer.  Simply put-if they could they would.

We eliminated wear-prone vinyl and stapled upholstery

Take a close look at some leg rests and you might think...OK    L- shaped shelf brackets, staples, a staple gun, some cheesy vinyl from the local hardware store and viola!   Another reason for the short warranty period.   No value added here, but you the consumer pay for that "made in your garage" look and feel.
